Date for your diary 21st September Open Air Service in the Church grounds 10.45 as usual. It will be a Church Parade and ALL are welcome.

The Elders took a decision recently to open the Church on Wednesday evening between 7pm and 8pm to provide a quiet time when anyone can go in and pray and a time of reflection in the quiet of the Church. Please ask any Elder for details.

The Church will now hold a Communion Service open to all on the last Wednesday of the month starting at 12 noon until 12.30. See the event calender for the dates for the rest of the year.

June 2007

The 14th June was the date of the Summer fair which was held throught the grounds, fortunatly we had good weather most of the time. The attractions included all the usual stalls plus Pet's corner, Bouncy Castle, Archery, Ellenbrook & Boothstown Band & much much more. The Fair was opened by Tip Toe's andalso included a reprise of "Twizovoz" and performances by the Young Peoples Choir and Urban Stage.

Pictures to follow.

This year the Elders decided, because of the school holidays around Easter time not to hold the Spring Fair at this time, but to hold a Summer Fair on 14th June. More about this later.

March 2007

The highlight of the spring was the latest Mike Critchley extravaganza “TWIZOFOZ” which ran on 14th March for 3 nights and was sold out on every night. The Panto was a version of  “The Wizard Of OZ” with a twist and  all the usual characters and some amazing special effects.

December 2007

The Dinner dance at Ellesmere Golf club was well attended  and was again organised by Alison. This event which is attended by a wider audience which includes many Parents from the Uniformed Organisations and it always results in a few fuzzy heads at Sunday Morning service.

All of a sudden it was Christmas, we had thrown all our efforts in the Opening Day and all that happened then Christmas seemed to come so soon afterwards. All the usual services went on with a wonderful atmosphere at the Candlelit Carol service and also the Christmas Day service.

There was again a New Years party organised by Jean and her merry (especially on New Years Eve).crew Jean was unfortunately unable to attend but Tracy and Lorraine handled the catering superbly. The disco was once again run by Mike and it is always good to see so many people up dancing and having fun. The event always contains a short act of Worship before we bring in the New Year and this year the Church was open for anyone who wanted a quiet time and reflection.

November 2007

The Christmas Fair was again a big success and the new facilities, especially the new Kitchen where well used.
