We support Salford Food as part of our Community Outreach work at Worsley Road. Please help us to support local people in need.

The people and friends of the church gave 378.5 kilograms of food in 2024.

Salford Food Bank is facing challenging times as the current financial situation worsens and more people need food banks each week.

Please keep bringing your donations to church and put them in the new large black food box in the porch area.

Items they are running low on at the moment are Tinned Meat eg Curry or Meat balls, UHT Milk,Jam, Cereal, Tinned Fruit & Toothpaste. 

The following items are always needed, Instant mash, tinned meat and vegetables make a nutritious meal that can be microwaved in minutes or a pan, this helps to save on gas and electric costs.

Toilet Rolls  Long Life Fruit Juice Sandwich spreads   Breakfast cereals 

Pasta  Toothpaste  Pasta sauce   Snacks Soup Rice Pudding

Tinned beans  Tinned meat     Toiletries   Biscuits

Tinned vegetables  Tinned fruit  Tea or coffee   Rice 

Sanitary towels and tampons (unopened packs)
